She hates dating and tries to avoid it as much as possible because no man has been James Acaster. In this podcast, she goes on first dates with internet strangers from the dating apps and asks them questions that most people wouldn't ask on first dates. And yes, she has been paid in beer for stand-up comedy, so she is legally obligated to start a podcast. She's a comedy writer (yes, she has been paid for her work) and owns an unattractive amount of cats. She's one step closer every day to becoming the scary witch lady in your neighborhood (except probably nicer).
